The GF is the major prize for all SL sides at the seasons outset without a doubt and after that anything else is a bonus



The Challenge Cup is the next best prize on offer Kudos wise and it does carry a hefty prize fund for the winners

But IMO the CC doesn't get any clubs juices flowing until they actually reach the semi final stage,Some SL clubs are happy to be eliminated in the earlier rounds to concentrate on the SL competition safe in the knowledge that they could still get eliminated in later rounds of the CC



Out of the 3 competitions available to SL sides then I would choose

1: A Grand Final win without a doubt every time

2: A Challenge cup final win

3: A league leaders shield trophy

This trophy only becomes worthwhile nowadays IMO is when it is backed up by a GF win

If it isnt then it is merely a trophy that no one will ever recall who actually won it in years to come unfortunately

If the OP means league leaders shield then Cup, if not then the GF.

I still prefer the occasion, atmosphere and so on of a Wembley win to an Old Trafford win - the whole day/weekend out just seems that much more special.

The cups great. It's a fantastic weekend or say out and it feels great to win it but the Grand Final is by far and away the biggest prize IMO. It says you're the best team in the country and by winning it you get a warm glow through the off season whilst your rivals stew.



Give me either any day but I'd choose the Grand Final out of both of them.

Growing up it was all about the Challenge Cup and in my heart it's still the one for me but the Sky Sports trophy is now the biggest trophy on offer and is the one everyone wants. 3 teams still have a very realistic chance of both, you would say that between those 3 teams both trophies will be won. I have a feeling we will be the bridesmaids again though. I think Warrington will win the Challenge cup and then Hull will beat them in the Grand Final. I am more than happy to be wrong though.
