You can always block them. My main gripe is with people who post the utterly mundane, as in 'Having egg & chips for tea.'

That's only for mobile use. Twitter works fine on it's own on a PC. Having a specific app just makes it easier to use on a phone. Instead of having to open your web browser and sign in you just open the app. I use Echofon because it has push notifications |

I like using it on my phone more than pc ,like you say phone apps are easy if not easier |
