Fielden has a 2 year deal agreed with Hull, just needs signing. Unless Wigan have changed their mind and offered him 2 years he'll sign for Hull.
Apparently he did make clear that he wanted to see out his career with Wigan but didn't want just a 12 month deal. |

Looking at that pack, does any feel we could still do with another prop. I'm not overly convinced with Prescott and O'Barrell. |

fielden will not leave wigan. i reckon he fells he owes the club and fans a lot. he will be happy with the one year deal and even then he is in place to negotiate further at the end of next season if he's earnt it throughout next year with his performances and if they are anything like they have been for the big part of this year then i'd happily have him on for another year, squad permitting etc.
we must keep him for 2011. otherwise the signings we've made are simply replacements and we have not improved.

Yes he is but it's halfway through the season when his ban is lifted (mid-June if memory serves) so he won't be available for the first dozen rounds or so. We will need a replacement prop if Feilden leaves. Any chance we could borrow Andy Lynch?  |

he will stay for that reason!!!  it is the big story in hull about him agreeing a 2 year deal.can't be announced till sept 1. |
