You do realise you get to take a bag on as hand luggage ?



There is limits on how big, but you can use a big enough bag/case for a 2/3 day journey easy.

i thought you was aloud about 10kilos with you but it doesnt explain on the site what your limits are as in weight it just goes on about size

Cabin Baggage Allowance



Strictly one item of cabin baggage per passenger (excluding infants) weighing up to 10kg with maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm is permitted. (handbag, briefcase, laptop, shop purchases, camera etc.) must be carried in your 1 permitted piece of cabin baggage. Extra/oversized cabin baggage will be refused at the boarding gate, or where available, placed in the hold of the aircraft for a fee of £40/€40. If you are unsure, check at the Bag Drop desk before going through security.





I've never had my hand baggage case weighed before on any flight with the likes of easyjet or ryanair but the limit is supposed to be 10kg like you say.

Kinell.....it's only for two days, wouldn't need 5kg me.

Flew with Ruinair last week to Ireland from Liverpool - they checked every bag at the boarding gate that it fitted inside the sizing frame - if it didn't fit it didn't go in the cabin and you had to pay the hold baggage charge. If you had two bags, they made you put one inside the other - and that included duty free purchases too - if the second bag wouldn't fit inside the main bag, then it was £40...kerching!! If your case won't fit inside the frame because of its wheels, then it doesn't fit.....kerching !!!



They didn't weigh them though.



Just remember, it's Ruinair, any excuse they can find to charge you extra money they will - FFS the fella even bought a taxi so he could drive around Dublin in the bus lanes .....he's sharp!
