The hatred, for me, comes from two things. Im a Crewe Alex fan and Latics used to play dirty when they were in the same league (even kicking one of our players in the face) and always got away with it all for some reason. I therefore hated them. They then got promoted and I forgot they existed for a while until 2008 when we were kicked out to Widnes that time and the hatred was reignited.
And the other reason is because I have a friend who started to go watching them in 2006 (convenient timing ey?) and everytime I see him he says "when you lot gonna get off our pitch and stop wrecking it for us" this persistent blame for ruining the pitch is perhaps the most annoying part of it as we clearly do not ruin the pitch (considering it was ruined over winter when we hadnt used it!) but the idiots at the latics still blamed us for that!

 What a shame they're not intelligent enough to take a step back and realise they are just compounding the issue, and making themselves look even more thick!!
None of them will take any of this on board though, and it will somehow be our fault as we are all ‘chubsters’ and ‘big fat sweaty mongs’ with ‘18 stone female rugby fans’ 
If they weren't so hostile towards the rugby they may get a few thousand floating rugby fans through the gates each week and then not get the P155 poor crowds that the country micky take every weekend, but unfortunately they're intent on alienating everyone!
I'd love to do an IQ test on the whole of cockney latic....is there a brain cell between them? All I can say to this imbecile is at least we have female fans in our sport, unlike wendyball, where most female fans are to frightened to go due to testosterone fuelled morons wanting to beat each other up simply because nothing interesting is happening on the pitch! MORONS! |

I was kind of neutral on the whole thing. It's football. The sport where men act like children and get paid millions for doing it. However, I don't like Dave Whelan so I naturally want him to spend a lot of money on the Latics and see them fail. Nothing personal against Latics. If he sold them, I'd go back to treating them with the same apathy I treat football in general.
