Loads of people saying Roberts should start at full-back. I understand the reasoning, but can't see MM starting with Sam in the halves now. He's made it clear (as far as I can tell) that Sam is now Wigan's number 1! That's not to say things won't change during the game - let's be honest, MM's not scared of a re-shuffle, is he!?!

I was under the impression that would be the case when Finch is available. But when Mcilorum goes off, Leuluai goes to 9 and Lockers to 6 it affects the team IMO. I think for the time being we should start with settled halves and a FB and interchange Leuluai and Mcilorum at 9 (especially against the big teams and away from home).

Id put Fielden on the bench instead of Charnley. My deacs comment was tongue in cheek so hopefully he can last the game meaning Charnley would be out of the 17.

I'd like to see how Hansen goes at prop, would help get our 4 quality backrowers into the team for the WCC. Dropping Joel to make him have a serious think about his decision making in big games. Saturday wasn't the first time he's blown a fuse under pressure.

I'm not saying I disagree with you, I'm just not convinced that's what MM will do! Besides, I have no doubt that Mickey can play 80 minutes if need be.

Could Hoffman possibly do a job at prop if needed?

If Fielden isn't injured you'll have no problems with his match fitness. He's not the animal he once was but he's a very fit bloke and looks after himself. You won't have an issue with him blowing out of his back door (providing you don't ask him to do 80 mins!)
