Mc Illorum + Leuleui + Riddell = 3 (for 1 place)



Mc Illorum + Leuleui + Newton = still 3 (for 1 place), only 1 name has changed, Tommy is still only interchanging at 7 & 9, depending on a new signing at 6 or 7, plenty of options in a key position.

Newton hasn't looked the same player whilst at Bradford as he did here but he's still a fine player.



He's one of my favourite alltime Wigan players simply because he cared a great deal about this club and loved playing here. He always gave his all which sometimes spilled over.



I think it's been noticable whilst at Bradford that he just doesn't seem as aggresive anymore...........he just doesn't care as much.



If Riddell did want to go home and there wasn't a decent halfback available allowing us to move Leuluai to 9 i'd have Newton for at least a season.

Newtons got the knees of a 40 year old.

Well if Stanley Gene can do it...

Stanley is in his mid forties and still going strong

He has a star tattoo around his left knee, how many forty year olds have that?

Often it seems that way, but when you look at him he's one of the few who puts the effort in and can be often found shouting orders about and getting pretty angry when we are recieving a whooping. He still has the heart imo but not quite as much ability to back it up. He's still a joy to watch at times.

And he was 5 times the player in a Wigan Shirt !

I think when people watched him in the past walloping people and taking people out off the ball how classy a player with ball in hand he actually was. He distributes well and takes great options.



A fine player.

Why? does every single RL fan in the world think he is god, grow up, he were genk, he's not even fit to lace Bett's boots
