I don't believe for one second Riddell is talking about leaving the club.

It seems like an odd thing to post though. I can imagine him doing it in a fit of pique if, say - he'd suddenly found out that he wasn't playing today. That might also explain why it was quickly removed.

If this is the case - and he wants to go home...Posting that on his Facebook is utterly stupid and unprofessional as he knows he has many Wigan fans as his 'Friends'. The only thing posting that will cause is all sorts of rumours. Though i'd like to believe he isn't that thick and it was just the Ibiza thing.

Isn't that why Footballers ain't allow FB acounts, because of this type of thing! I can see our players accounts going!

I would take it with a pinch of salt. It is probably a little “in” joke between friends that means something totally different to anyone else

If player’s facebook accounts were deactivated because of incidents like this (and I use the term "incident" reluctantly) then it just goes to show what a bunch of hysteria causing buffoons we all are.
