It can’t be any worse than our training gear. I went in the club shop yesterday and it’s dire. A load of cheap generic gear with little Wigan badges stitched on. I’d expect better gear down at one of the local amateur teams tbh. I look at the GB stuff Hummel did and other stuff they’ve done and it’s been pretty good, so I’m thinking Wigan have chosen to get the cheapest range in they’ll provide that is then being sold at sky high prices (£60 for a hoody that is dreadful).

I’ve seen better quality at Primark frankly than the training gear it’s absolutely dire quality I’m glad someone agrees with me this stuff isn’t cheap and it should be of better quality than it is at present

The GB gear at the side of it looks professional, good quality and as though it was designed for that team. Ours looks generic, poor quality and as though it was picked from their basics catalogue that an amateur team would select from to save money. I was pretty stunned just how poor the stuff is in the flesh. The kits don’t look bad quality but that training range is a horror show from such a big club.

Very disappointed to hear that. Will have a look at the weekend.

My home shirt arrived in the post this week. Get them every year, mainly as its creates a talking point with fellow SL fans over here.



No complaints on the quality other than the printed on badge. Give me felt, rubber or embroidery. Anything that makes it seem like it hasn't come straight off a conveyer belt.

The only plus point is that the badge won’t rub too much on holiday I suppose

I think the new kit is of great quality and I have both the new Wigan kit and Great Britain kit and they are of good quality! Unfortunately you can’t please everyone but the sizing is a lot better than errea! Definitely think you should go and see for yourself!! I know how much effort goes into sorting a new kit/training gear and it’s shame to see such negativity in our fans!

Compare our gear with the adm gear that Orrell RUFC have on their online shop. Seems to be a Wigan firm as well.

Looks like we got an extra sponsor on the front. Doesn't look quite as clean

I'm not bothering with a shirt this time as i don't think the quality looks great and many people have posted as such,personally i think its poor that the badges and stars are printed and not embroidered especially when you consider the price,i will stick with my special edition shirt i think I'm 46 out of 1000,i wanted number 1 but Mr Lenagan has that one.
