Losing his head at the end when he’s meant to be a senior player.



Not fit to lace Sam Tomkins boots. Or French for that matter.



Currently the most overrated and overhyped player in SL.

He had another shocker today that’s for sure



Shouldn’t have talked to the press been crap since then,but what a player Tomkins is I’d say he’s better now than a decade ago,he just oozes class any club would be daft to let him wave goodbye

He's been cucked by French since French came back but I thought he'd show something now he's back at FB but no.



As with the other 16 players he was garbage, but now he's also put us in an awful position with yet another outside back out. Now Bibby will have to play FB probably.

The best fullback in SuperLeague. He said so himself........

Been awful ever since he said he was the best fullback in the league. Shame as I thought he had turned a corner after the Leeds game.

Probably more ahead of him that’s just off the top of my head.



He’s an above average runner of the ball and a good defensive full back but that doesn’t cut it in the modern game.



You need to be an extra half back. That forward pass he throw to Manfredi at Salford in the last 5 minutes nearly cost us the game.



This isn’t knee jerk as my posts on his inability to create at fullback date back to 2019.



That act of petulance at the end just tipped me over the edge.





I know we have bigger issues than this but I find it annoying how overrated he is by Facebook fans and weirdly the media.

That’s certainly the case. He was superb at the start of the season. He gave that interview and has been poor ever since.

Let’s get this straight he played well against Leigh, Wakefield and Leeds missing 10 first teamers.

Hardaker when he is firing is one of the best fullbacks in the league. No doubt in my mind. The key bit there is "when firing" and currently he is way off. He has got carried away in the press and has obviously had a brain fart today.



Part of me wonders if we took the goal kicking off him would he play better?

The comments he made definitely seem to have affected him. Whether you thought he was the best fullback in the league or not he was certainly the form player in Super League at that time and had played some of his best rugby since we signed him.



I've got no issue with someone having confidence in their own ability, or even being arrogant if that's something that helps them. There are lots of arrogant players in sport who are outstanding but ultimately what makes them outstanding is that they back up what the say. Hardaker looks like he's got inside his own head and by making those comments has just put pressure on himself that he didn't need to.
