| I suspect we might see Davies in for Marshall.

Agreed, and I would approve of that. Both have excellent qualities, but Davies is the more natural right winger, and better in defence and kick returns. Marshall is faster, and a better finisher overall, but needs a more typical centre like Gildart, rather than the excellent but unpredictable and a little selfish Gelling.

well, given that most of them looked to be thinking more of their holidays than anything to do with the game last week, any "problems" are already well rooted.
Personnally I've written this season off & if it weren't for a bad back which actively prevents me from getting there this week, I'm not sure I need the agro or the dangerous blood pressure watching that shower at all.

| That's a shocking 'injury' list!!
Clearly most are being rested ahead of next week but we'll take it. As for our team, the time has come for the Wrecking ball to be given a boot up his lazy backside and to be dropped. Dependant on his reaction that could be useful ahead of the semi if he takes it in the right way and starts to put some effort in to the basics (like being bothered to play the ball correctly).
Sadly there aren't enough options to drop one or two others or enough time to change too much around before the semi. I'd go-
Tomkins
Davies Gelling Gildart Burgess
Williams Leuluai
Clubb Powell Wells
Bateman Sutton Lockers
Tautai Isa Field McIlorum
Isa is wasted out wide and needs to play through the middle for me. I was impressed with Sutton in the second row last year and young Wells looks for all money a prop. Leeds are inexperienced enough to try a couple of things.

Think FPN would be quite happy to be dropped NK . Think he gave up a long time ago

And a dominant win at that! Can't remember the last time we properly spanked someone, and with that squad Leeds are practically bent over with their kecks round their ankles waiting for it.

| We need more from FPN I'll agree with that but I don't think he deserves all the stick he's getting. When u take out his customary knock on and lazy penalty, technically he's going ok. He lands on his knees and elbows more often than not giving us a quicker play the ball and in defence, the opposition rarely do the same when FPN is in the tackle. I'd be ok with him if we could get more from him and he used his weight and size to its full capacity. With Flower out, there's no way I'd drop him.

Agree, there's definitely been a notable improvement since earlier on in the season too. Frustrating that he seems to have another gear or two in him though.

| The really annoying thing for me is he'd picked his form up before that Wire game. He was excellent against Widnes and at Catalans but that performance against Wire wasn't acceptable. He made two basic errors, gave a penalty away and ran for about 35 metres (if o recall correctly from the stats I saw). You add in the fact that he's lazy in defence and it totals a really poor night.
I've backed him up until Thursday. I didn't think he'd been as bad as some would make out but he clearly had more in him. I think we saw that against Widnes and Catalans but to then come up with that garbage against Wire shouldn't be acceptable.

I agree mate but he wasn't on his own on Thursday was he. The whole lot of them (Clubb the exception) were miles off their best and they all have an opportunity to put it right this week. There can be no excuses against a weakened Leeds side at home after an 8 day turnaround. If FPN or anybody dishes up the same tripe this week they deserve all they get from our fans.
