A few players seemed quite knackerd/Injured today... Deacon, Pat & Prescott in particular. I know Cas are no walk overs, but is it worth risking them on Wednesday with the squad we have? IMO a team of;

I'd be surprised if Carmont is able to back up after such a short space of time. I think Goulding will come in to replace him. I agree with Mellor on the bench and Deacon getting a rest, but I imagine Madge will go with O'Loughlin at 6 for a short spell but I don't see the benefit.

Carmont is playing like a 20 year old, I wish he was younger he is absolutely superb. So under rated by opposition fans.

Anyone who isn't 100% fit shouldn't play. We don't want to take any risks with the QF so close.



I'd like to see Mellor and Hock in the 17 for sure.

were there any injuries picked up last night (prescott?)

will we get any suspensions ? (the fight ?)

who is coming back ? (is faz fit? hock presumably)

are any of the loan players not playng this weekend ?



also the longer term injuries - when is fielden due back ? (roberts ? o'carrol ? i know they wont play in the next week, but just interested when to expect them back)

Fielden should be back for the QF, Eamon around the same time but will probably do a month in the reserves. Amos, well, another few weeks and some games in the reserves to see how his knee holds up.

think some players might be rested but the break between a friday night and wednesday is 5 days, same amount as break betwen a sunday game and a friday game. Think players might be rested during quins and wakefield to be fresh for cc game

People are talking about this game as though we are backing up like after the Exiles game. We have a 5 day turn around.... its only like playing on a sunday and then again on a friday night. I think we will be fine.
