Thats what I thought but the CC can have an adverse effect on teams. Not sure about Leeds and Wire for that reason. |

Leeds will probably have to go flat out every week for the next 6 weeks if they are to be champs. In previous years they were top and out of the cup and could rest inbetween big games. Their most influential player is out for the season and playing flat out every week will lead to further injuries. They are playing at Wembley this week which is their main goal for this season.
I'm loath to write off 3 times champs but I wouldn't back them at 4/1 with your money.

I think that's about right, I see Leeds as the fourth best team in this comp, especially without Peacock. Wire and St helens are the most dangerous teams from a Wigan point of view I'd say.
(But I still stand by the idea that any of the 4 teams can beat each other on their day) |
