I think it's a pretty unique situation. You get players who are 'bad influences' or 'want out' in all sports, even RL but not to the extent that Tevez went too.



That being said one of our greats, Ellery Hanley, could be disruptive at times.

Just proves how much "player power" is in modern day football.

It was just a series of sports people giving their opinion. There was also an interview with Brian Mc re Friday nights game. He was also asked his opinion and just said that it would never happen in RL.

If you want to see it just watch SSN, it's bound to be on again in the next 40 minutes, it's all they're talking about.

Hanley's ego when a player was probably even bigger than Tevez's. However when you get paid £250,000 a week it does seem a tad inconsiderate to not put a shift in for 30 minutes when asked.

It also seems a daft time to do it. During the transfer window he may have been given a way out but now he potentially has to hang around until the new year.

Used to love football but now it just a load rich s throwing money around acting like spoilt brats. People wonder why their kids are little s when they are watching people with an attitude like that. Its only a matter of time before one of them is on a £1 million a week.



Would love to see some of them give rugby league a try, they wouldnt last 2 minutes

Tevez' actions, and in particular this most recent one, justify my decision to no longer take much interest in Football.



Shame too, as there was a time I paid a lot of interest as a neutral.

Well said, couldn't agree more, I, like you, used to enjoy the game but now cant get interested in it, players feigning injury, the powers that be refusing to accept technology that will help referees, obscene amounts of money being payed to average players, it goes on and on, yet the media will tell us what a wonderful spectacle it is, awful

It doesn't help that the people running the game are as corrupt as they come.

Aye, im football born and bred and as the years go on i like it less and less.. English football was fantastic in the 80's and an absolute pleasure to grow up watching but the English game is no longer football... such a shame. Tevez is a disgrace, he's in good company in that league!
