| No they don't make a heap of money but I think it's likely that they've lost patience with us (maybe the management of both clubs don't get on). Think it's unlikely that Gus would come out in public and say what he has if it wasn't true.
Now I know we haven't got any future at Quins, I wish we were moving next season. After all, there'll not be much point in trying to boost attendances at TW2.
As for Gillingham, does Gus realise that the attendance was respectable mainly due to the fact that Hull had brought at least 1500 fans?
All in all, an absolute bleedin shambles.

| Quote Tre Cool="Tre Cool"Hemel is a ridiculous suggestion for a SL club. No stadium, no money, no fan base. Why does everyone hold them up as the next big thing on the back of building a 400 seater stand after being in existence for decades?'" Eh? I meant we'd rather watch Hemel (as our closet RL team rather than travel all the way to Gillingham) not that they'd be a good SL team.

| Don't buy this cash strapped excuse. It costs loads to fly to and stay in France and the ale isn't cheap. Away fans probably aren't interested in what in recent years has been a walkover victory in an empty, soulless ground.

Yes. The drop in away fans has been noticeable since Catalans joined SL and when you consider this impacts on almost every home match you get to understand comparing London Crowds to Northern crowds (who enjoy large away followings) you realise that you are not comparing like with like.

If our ground was packed full of londoners on three sides of the grounds you would get a lot more away fans coming down for an 'event' game.
As penguin said, hiking down to an empty souless shell of a ground to watch us is not that inspiring an option

| Quote wire quin="wire quin"So we go to watch the crowds now?'" During a couple of matches in the past season, the performances on the pitch were so uninspiring that I found it more interesting to try to count the number of people in the crowd. So, yes.
