Not sure that is the intention. Long term future rather than just next year. My only hope is that we are using the backroom and resources of a football/rugby union/rugby league/hockey/ insert as appropriate team whrich is why we are trimming down.



As to the team on the pitch who knows. The alternatives aren't great and this forum might not exist shortly.

If that is the case, which it seems it is, why are the club going to take part in the Super League next year then (that's if they actually do)?



Over the past five or six years support has dwindled to the incredibly low levels they're at now and another year at Super League level with a side and a club as a whole that isn't competitive and run poorly will only see more people drop off from the support.

Indeed I don't really see any scenario where we can be a competitive SL club next season. At least not one that can be reconciled with operating on a shoestring budget.

I'm afraid that our club will make the numbers up and little else. Being competitive in the circumstances we're in is an impossibility.
