DH isnt overly bothered about anything which is why the club is dying. For an intellegent man he is extremely short sighted.

Well you can only hope AK,the Hive and Barnet have a big say in how the club will be run in the future because DH doesnt know how to run a sports club or communicate with fans

Can we have a reality check please with this criticism of David Hughes?



1. As I understand it David Hughes spends significant sums on giving you moaners who criticise him a team to watch.

2. The club employs people to communicate - its not his job.

3. The current "fans" are not the major stakeholders / funders of the club - I am imaging the principal revenues derives from TV rights and Mr Hughes.

4. Without David Hughes you have no club to support.



If you want to moan, moan about about the other things or other people.

He's either employing the wrong people or he's not giving them the tools to do the job with.Which is it

DH openly stated he hired and fired so he has to accept responsibility for this whether you like it or not.

The current fans are dwindling because of his decision making - they may not be a major contributor but the more that come along the bigger the pot - the more driven away makes for a smaller pot.

Why does it have to be either of those things?

With it being the first match at a new stadium I was surprised there was no endeavour to engage with attendees in terms of asking them to fill in a contact form on some pretence or another so that the club could then follow up and maybe encourage newcomers to come again or even people like me who first went to Fulham's first match in 1980 but went today for the first time since they went back to The Stoop and started calling themselves "QuinsRL".

Clearly the club has not been promoted properly or adequately for years, so who is to blame?,there has to be blame.

Lack of funds?

Spoke to AK today. Saw him collecting glasses etc. Strikes me he was a restaurant owner in a former life.



No real future for SL at the Hive.

How can you have lack of funds in a licensed league ?.

If your at rock bottom in the league the only way is up.

If your youth development is crap you have the opportunity to develop it because you cant be relegated so no need to over spend on the first team.

IMO a lack of funds is a bad arguement
