Whomever London signs does not matter. The club will continue to underachieve under current management. It will likely be relegated under current management. The only thing that can change the club is a new majority investor with a good business sense and a love of the game. Such a person would get rid of the underachievers in the front office, the back office, and on the field.



Such a person exists. But he has to be made to believe that it is worthwhile putting some of his massive millions into a currently failing scheme.

I believe we will be at the Stoop which begs the question about Gus and co not only screwing up this year with uncertainty but also next year.

IMO if at stoop next year, makes you wonder if shutting up shop. See out the season, don't bother moving into any other grounds as only going for another year. Possibly why not many player signings. I was amazed at him playing a full 80 minutes. He's not exactly a spring chicken and is a prop forward by all accounts - surely he would be more effective in 15-20 minute spells off the bench as an impact prop?

Up until the games you mention we normally get 2 x 10's of him as a prop

2 x 10s of ambling along ten or twenty metres behind play with his mouth hanging open

When he wants to play, he is easily our best forward. It's a shame he never seems to want too.

Maybe the new thinking is that he can have a rest when he's earned one.

One person who should not be involved with that recruitment is Rea himself, this season has proven if nothing else, Tony no longer has what it takes.



Another attack from Garry Schofield in his column, it's getting like a worn record, I see Garry similar to Alan Hansen, what have they really done since their playing days ended? but they like to sit in judgement of those who are willing to be involved in the game either coaching or management! Garry again questions how those who support London in Super League are now assessing the current situation. He gets great joy in quoting Dave Hadfield as losing faith in a future for the club. Usually I take up the bait and respond, but these days I see Schofield as a joke, like Ray French, they have never moved with time.

What a silly statement to make, Rea has invested almost nothing into building the current squad of players, to suggest that its his fault for the team he has is stupid. He has failed with motivating and getting the best out of the players he inherited, yes. But to say that Rea shouldn't be involved in recruiting when he was involved in many of the biggest names we've had down in London is ridiculous.
