Er it is normal practice for people in london to be paid a london weighting, even those who travel from the North and for the simple reason for this additional payment is that it is expensive living in london. For the price of a house in london you could probably buy a whole street up north.

biggunbrad....do you think an assistant manager at the Halifax in Halifax earns the same as an assistant manager of a branch in Ealing? I can assure you that the person doing the same job in the south gets between 10 and 15% more in London weighting....it's what happens across the board.

I don't see why we cant have a marquee player allowance for clubs that haven't gone into administration in say the previous 5 years.

I wouldn't expect them to which is why we should be allowed to recruit more overseas players to compensate for it with a cost of living top up for living down here. Its not ideal but might make a difference enough to make us competitive if we recruit well.
