It's just the barbs and digs on certain issues with the club. It's constant.



I agree things appear poorly run as do others, but for some reason you've taken upon yourself to be the one that goes on and on about it.



You appear not to like being challenged. Though you refer to it as a snipe.

How could my OP in this thread be deemed anything but a comment on how I believe that a plan such as Lionel road should be explored to exhaustion? Yes, I did say the potential move to Kent was badly thought out and it was.....I doubt there is a single fan of the club who would disagree. The mention of Kent had direct relevance to the thread....it was not adig at the club, just an observation.

I admit to pointing out the flaws at the club, but when I do so, I generally offer an alternative method/practice/scheme/idea etc.....I don't "snipe" for the hell of it and I welcome feedback from you and other posters......no matter how misguided

Probably not productive or of any valuse to fall out amongst ourselves. This has to be a way forward and if the Club is to survive in a meaningful form then somehow buying into this has to be the way. Its in the right part of London where we have operated for the majority of our existence - from Fulham onwards. its right size (or would be if we could grow our crowds). Gives us a prtner who we might be able to work with and a community to work with. I will buy a euromillions lottery ticket and if i win, i will approach the club - you heard it here first................................................... (Note: i havent done the lottery in years and never won when i did so dont raise your hopes!

There are two other additional concerns; David Hughes has made it known on more than one occasion that it not only PL and Championship clubs that are not interested in sharing grounds with us, but also lower league clubs and the Griffin Park mob currently fit into that bracket.



The other is a major issue on both sides of the world and that is playing in cavernous stadiums, I would not want to move into a larger ground unless we matched the desire to actually go out and win the spectators custom, or at least paper the house in a planned manner for strategic fixtures such as Sky Live games.

So I don't know that lower league clubs are averse to sharing with 'Rugby'.

This should definitely be explored, sounds ideal. Where is Kent anyway?

The rugby club that was widely linked over recent years was a rugby union one and it was London Welsh, who are now playing there sport in Oxford.

LW now looking to buy a share of Kassam so perhaps opens the door for us.

Weird. They'd only need to move a few miles further from London and they'd be over the border and could call themselves Newport Welsh.
