Captain and leader on tbe pitch are often different. Rob was Captain but Hill, Orr or Gale were expected to lead the team around the pitch. Expect Randall to be Captain or possibly Dorn, but Gower and Witt to be leading the team.

Your halves will always lead the team around the pitch as they get the ball pretty much from every play the ball.

I've not really seen much of your lads on the field, but would you give Clubb a go at captaining your club? Like I said, I haven't really seen much of them on the field, so you'l have a better idea as to his leadership qualities than I do.

To be honest he is probably a decent enough leader. Passionate about the team that is for sure. But I prefer a captain to lead by example, therefore I would support Windy's assessment.

My only problem with Randall is that his head can go down. We need a captain who has belief in the face of insane adversity.

A captain that can inspire the team when we are winning with 20 mins to go to muller the opposition and when we are down with 20 mins to go inspire us to hunt the mistake and win at the end. Something we have not done for a while.

Good point. A captain without mercy. It is not enough to win, but to win with discipline, aggression and dominance.
