| Quote biggerAfter seven seasons at The Stoop, the club are also actively working with the Rugby Football League to find a new playing venue of their own.'"
This will drive some people wild.
I think there could have been something "bigger" done with this. Some people wanted the announcement made in the week of the double header at Wembley, which it is, but how about this for a crazy idea.
Announce the whole thing at Wembley. There has been thousands of tickets sold, so there's your audience. There will be a number of South East based RL fans there/ANZAC fans and there's the Sky cameras there.
Unveil the club between the two games, before the teams in the final game have come out to warm up. Get a load of cheerleaders, fireworks, Buck and Dusty, Rob Powell and a new signing or two. Get them out in a new shirt and make a big thing about the re-birth of the club. Go mental and offer those who have a ticket for the Wembley Internationals a discounted rate of lets say £50-£80 for a Broncos season ticket, if they've never had one before (when the club were Quins). Give them all the opportunity to attend a friendly against Manly for free (if there's one organised) on the basis they show their Wembley ticket. Get Powell on the tele and in the Sky office and interviewed by Eddie and Stevo.
Go big or go home, I'm afraid.

I am going to disagree here. I think Mr Hughes and Gus will know how important this is and will be the reason this has not been rushed.

That last sentence is a little disturbing for someone with the name Moe Lester, but it sounds like the way to go, and with the RFL meant to be supportive, or at least not against us surely they would not mind us promoting ourselves to prospective new, or fans that we may have lost over the last few years. Logistically it would be best if there were a code that they got at the match and they get a say half-season ticket, but the first half, because lets face it no-one will want a season ticket without seeing us at least once. Or just make them feel special and offer them discounts because they went to Wembley, people do not feel wanted at football matches, and without looking needy we should encourage people to feel welcome via discounts that they've earned, rather than milking the cashcow as soccer seems to see its fans.

| Moe Lester's plan would work if we were a traditional club where the majority of supporters walk/take a bus/drive a short distance to the stadium. Our supporters are all over the place and can't just attend on a whim. I doubt anyone in London for the Four Nations would fancy a trip out to Twickenham in the freezing cold to drink lousy beer in a Rugby Union ground (I'm assuming Moe wants it at the ground as he/she mentions fireworks). I certainly wouldn't and I support the team ffs.

| I am not sure other clubs would not be too pleased if we hijacked the Wembley Double Header Tests with us holding a media launch, the RFL have enough worries still how many they will get to attend.
The Media Launch has to be somewhere & prominent venue that print media and TV will attend in Central London rather than The Stoop, plenty of places such as Sports Cafe, City Hall, major Hotel David Hughes must have some contacts.

How can you get anymore prominent than Wembley Stadium?
The club could use somewhere like City Hall but whats the point? On the day of the double header, the audience will be Rugby League fans, their will be both print media and TV there as well, so having a Media Launch away from the game and those who are at Wembley because of the game makes little sense to me.

Not a single soul at Wembley interested in finding a new sports team, I find that hard to believe. Finding new fans for the London Broncos is not like hunting quail, but equally it is not like hunting the dodo; there are people out there who are not cynics and are willing to try things that appear interesting and worthwhile, hopefully a day out at Wembley is followed by a day out at the Stoop a few months down the line.

Its not a new team though is it. Most RL fans will already know about the Broncos. It is no big deal for them.
