Last CC meeting was at Barnet on 16 January 1994 when we lost 14-28 (t. Roskell 2, g. Gallagher 3) in front of 1557 spectators. At the time Fev were in the 1st. division and we were the underdogs.

Why should he take chances? Fev have a good recent record against SL opposition in the cup and should not be taken for granted and should be respected.

From which we learn that O'C and Dorn have been out injured. Don't think they've told us that before.
So what about others, are they injured or not?, e.g. Colbon, Channing, Randall (yes, we know he went off at Leeds, but what's the prognosis?), Howell (had his plaster off a week or so ago, so how close is he?), Rodney, Clubb (think they said he's out for 6 weeks?) ? And anybody else I've missed.

So no James Mendeika in the squad......I wonder if the cup weekend counts against his 5 week loan from Warrington?.......if now 4 weeks it hardly seems worth it.

This is a strong squad that should be beating a championship side comfortably. If we make the gain line through bryant, wheeldon etc gower will run the show and we will have plenty of scoring opportunities out wide with dixon and robertson (if fit). Will be interesting to see how ellis and lamont play against their old club.

I remember the match at Barnet - amazing kick off by us into the wind *before anyone really did short lick offs. It went about 30 yards before coming back in the wind and we got it. Fev were not impressed at teh result hence wanting revenge. Ah good times back then under 'Tank' Gordon.
