I agree with BB. The Challenge Cup we will probably roll over in, we usually do. We could have won the 1895 Cup. To do so would have given the club a real boost. On top of that it would given us something to put in the rather bare trophy cabinet.

If we want to avoid fixtures why have we not dropped the CC as we have no chance of winning that

We show our lack of interest in the CC by allowing ourselves to get knocked out in the first round. I think David Hughes still has nightmares over the cup.

Can’t help but think of the 1895 cup as being like the Alexander Armstrong Pointless trophy.
