me too i dont see a problem with ellis's weight, hes always been the same just his build

I am betting he will have cut some weight this season when he turns out for Hull KR. He was carrying too much fat.

He was too heavy and two slow to ever be a top Half, He had enough clubs to prove himself. Doesn't mean he can never be a top player though, I would have thought he has all he needs to make it as a Hooker.

Mate, it illustrates well that he has put fat on.

Robbo confirmed at the HGSA on Tuesday that last season fitness was a problem, Baloo and the conditioning team got it all wrong in this department but under Steve Walsh and Kane Daniels they can already see differences from last year.



He also said the door isn't closed for Jamie Ellis, he's basically out on loan to get fit and see if he can get some form.

Gave a very good insight into how the fitness an S&C works.

Hopefully we will see fitter and/or stronger players next year depending on their individual circumstances and what Rick wants from them.

Yet club individuals last season were saying fitness wasn't a problem.......

They're hardly gonna admit it at the time are they ?

Why would a SL club send a player to the championship to get fit.?

if a player is deemed to be fat, overweight, who,s fault is that.?

Superb and very frank assessment from Luke a great lad the honesty about our position was refreshing and a slight glimmer of hope that Rick Stone now in sole charge of trying to rebuild the squad. Let's hope he does well he certainly has our support

It was so obvious looking at them that they were unfit. I've been banging on about that since March, now Robbo confirmed it.

Well quite-

But now you are admiring their "honesty" - just like you were believing what was said previously. What things we are being told now will turn out to be untrue later I wonder.

When I and others mentioned their lack of fitness, and questioned whether some of our soft tissue injuries were linked some of these things said by those at the club were used to poo poo the idea. Yet now suddenly they are admitting that fitness was an issue.

They can spin like a seasoned politician it seems.
