Good result that, Widnes have invested pretty heavily in the academy as a big box ticker for their SL application.

Tony has said they are sore! He commented on twitter it was like playing at the barn.

Was told it was 44-18!

Looking forward to the game and a long awaited trip to back to your gaffe (though Hudds was are usual stopping / changing point for away games in the champ).



Looking at the squads we shouldn't have a chance in hell really, but a lot said that about you guys last week I guess with a few out. All I can ask is that we turn up and give it 100% and hopefully play some decent stuff and who knows what can happen.

Totally agree. This is anyone's game imo, if we don't turn up with the same attitude as we did at the DW this could be a long afternoon for us. I think Widnes will win a fair few matches this season once they get going. I see they've been written off by a lot of people already after last week & it was only round one! Ridiculous.



A winnable fixture for either side this one, it just depends who applys themselves best, plays smarter & maybe gets a bit of luck too. Mind you, with Ganson on board anything could happen.



Great to see the Chemics back where they belong though. I'm looking forward to the match.

Great performance. Was puzzled when Patrick and Lunt were left out but it didn't matter.



All again played well. Their try ewas a bit of a fluke, we were unlucky not to nil them and to win by 70 wouldn't have been out of the question given the chances we bombed and a couple of sympathetic decisions by Ganson.



Widnes were very poor. How much was us giving them too much to deal with is open to question.
