i like both lawrence and bailey.



bailey does have some good ball playing skills, good offload too. which lawrence doesnt but we know what he brings to the defence.



bailey may not be offered a new deal correct, not getting any younger, but was one of the better players for us last season

Yeh thats true he does have good ball handling skills. But in huby we have that now. Just my own opinion. But yes bailey had a great second half to the season

Where's the determination in our side? Where's the strength in our forwards? They don't make enough metres. They don't run hard enough. Our two biggest tacklers are a centre and a winger!



Anderson speaks and he's so relaxed I've seen rezzo's on Glenfield Ave smashed on weed with more enthusiasm when they speak. Is it rubbing off on the players? Are they really motivated and steely determined to go out there, run hard, hit hard and get two points? I can't see it.



Wigan were busted tonight and disrupted before and during the game. They dropped a LOT of ball. And they still won.



Phil Clarke said we have gone backwards and on the first 2 games of the season he is right. At this rate we will struggle to make the 8. I'm worried, I really am.



It's early days yes but my eyes see what my eyes see.

Anderson should have been given the boot end of last season the team to thick and lazy to win anything winning by six surprise surprise stupid imposing off loads just like last season cudjo ferris rondo should be made to play for Oldham next week

Oh dear. I would have hoped you could at least put a comment together that resembles a basic level of literacy. Spelling all three Giants players names wrong is the icing on the cake.

The ref warned Wigan just before half time that he would be having no more of the Wigan cheating and then he did NOTHING after more of the same.

Giants could still have won but tried to play beach rugby and fooked everything up.

Any day that Wigan win playing hold down and fiddle is a sad day.

But then I don't like their ethos, I'll be honest.

We'll finish top 6 before the split then who knows where we'll end up after that but it wouldn't surprise me if it's in the top 4.

We've carried last seasons poor form into the new season, it looks like the team's going backwards, Wigan were poor tonight and were there for the taking, we weren't up to it and we're absolutely dire in the 2nd half, it wouldn't surprise me at all to see us in the bottom 4 this season. Gonna be a long hard season for us I'm afraid, no doubt the same old excuses will be rolled out again (yawn yawn) by our coach

Only saw it on the box. Very scrappy game. I thought we were an improvement on last week. I didn't see any lack of effort or hard running etc as being mentioned. I saw some poor decision making at key points and poor game management. We need to improve this big time.



Physically we were much nearer where we need to be. Good to see Huby standing his ground, and I thought our pack stood up well. Make no mistake that Wigan pack will splatter some teams this year, and I include sutton in that. He'll be a beast.

Hard knocks Huddersfield, I thought you were unlucky not to be in front by more than 6 at half time. If you had been I'm not sure we would have come back in the second half as we did
