There's no way Wigan will pay anything near £800,000. They wouldn't pay half of that, we only got £250,000 for Joel Tomkins who's alot younger and was a natural successor to O'Loughlin as Wigan Captain. I'd imagine asking for similar ie. £250,000 you'd be pushing it.

This is awful news. Once again one if best players and captain lost to another team. If anything will unsettle the team it is this. Kev is a great player and our leader, senior man sold, best be some positive news on the horizon regarding new signings because Lunt and then brown in exchange for a bit of cash does nothing at all for me!

Great player? No. Good against lower table sides. Ineffective against top sides last year and this. And certainly not a leader.
He is a good player who wants the Widnes dollar. if that is where his head is, so be it. |

A contract means you get a transfer fee compared to nothing at all. |

| Re watching the challenge cup game versus broncos on sky I did wonder if something was afoot.
i could not figure out why barrie and terry kept bigging up KB. They talked about him again and again. he had a sound game game but several of our lads were better. Then KB gets man of the match! awarded by...terry and barrie. 
Why such a one eyed analysis?
I am sure that the fact that barrie and tez are close sky colleagues of Phil clark and Phil's brother is KB's agent has nothing to do with it....but it did make me think  |

Did he jump or was he pushed? I hope we know what we're doing. If Brough leaves too, it will be clear that we don't. Brown may not be as good a player as he promised to be I his early career but he's still a very good player and we NEED to replace him IMO.

always makes me smile when players , football and rugby say they`re moving to be nearer their family . just how far is wigan from huddersfield , i know that every now and then the m 62 is blocked , but you`d think it was a weeks forced march to get home . anyway best of luck to the lad
