Yes I watched it too and thought some of the citings of our position in the late 90's and turn of the century to where the club is now, was really good and puts into perspective what Ken Davy has done for this club.

Just reading about the comments about Phil Clarke... I read the whole report differently...



Earlier in his article he said this...



"There's a powerful motivation to being told that you 'cannot do it'. Nobody, myself included, believed that Leeds could win the Grand Final from fifth spot."



So when he says this..



"they have got no chance in the play-offs! Prove me wrong!"



He is wanting to give us the best motivation possible?



May just be me...

Actually that's the way I saw it too - have spoken to Phil previously and believe it or not he really does like us!

Exactly how I read it also, that he wants to 'give us the motivation', not that he actually thinks we have no chance.

have to say when ive heard him talk about the Giants in the past he has always been positive too

Kind of how I read it to be honest.



I also remember him on several occasions saying he enjoyed watching the Giants because of the brand of rugby they play.
