Ridiculous queues last 2 home games re refreshments in main stand. Waited 10 minutes and went back to seat before second half started empty handed , with the money I was willing to be fleeced on, still in my pocket.

That's about minus £10 to club funds.

But wasn't all that done in pregame stuff?

I can see the point of making the day an event and we did to a degree last year with the inflatables and things outside, how effective doing things inside the ground from say 2pm would be in getting people in early is another matter but getting children down early and in the vercinity of the club shop is always likely to yeild results even if their parents might not be too pleased with such tactics

Things must be going alright on the pitch if this is the hot topic du jour

A few weeks time and it will be the brand of hot chocolate or coffee on sale

Whenever possible (pitch concerns) just have the some (4) local juniors teams having a 6 a side match at either ends of the pitch, bound to pull in a few more punters as parents would want to watch their kids.

Local teams. school teams 50 free tickets for the competing schools. If 50 new people come and two of those enjoys it they keep coming back that is a result.



Local dance groups . Usually for every entertainer there is one or two family members who wants to come and watch.



The on field product at the minute is good. Get the entertainment right and the atmosphere and the punters will come and stay.

I reckon we could have nude dancers and give away £10 notes and the folk of hudds would still stay away!

The whole match experience is an important one- they put on stuff before the game- why not after? When the kids play it's usually prematch not half time- which personally I don't like cause the only ones in the place are us parents! Do it at half time for me- get other youngsters seeing kids their age playing- and hopefully encourage them to.

Its definetly an are we can target as with Under 12s free there is encouragement to get them back but we already do so so is it an area that has more potential or doing it in a different way (perhaps a season long tournament where winning sides return for the later rounds adding an extra edge and perhaps Giants players coaching sessions for the eventual winners).

To be honest it doesn't really affect me as i'm either in the concourse or stood up talking to my mates and hardly ever notice what goes on at half-time plus before i know it the teams are back out anyway.



One thing i definitely wouldn't wanna go back to though is them god awful young x-factor or whatever its called wannabee singers who sounds awful and in my opinion keep people away rather than bringing the, in !.

Agree 100% Cas seem big on those things but hopefully with us being there on a Friday Night it will be more mellow this year
