Amazing show! I feel like I want to say Saints were having an off day, but I'm not really that sure - your pack were incredibly dominant and everything flowed from there. Absolute joy to watch that tonight, not just because Saints were completely outplayed

Brilliant display, led by the power of the forwards. Fielden had a brilliant opening 20 and the back row were immense. Hard to single out one but Chan and Ferres were excellent. Thanks boys.

That was a major surprise Fielden as a run on prop,but he certainly rolled back the years with that display.



Our lads certainly walked the talk tonight.Something special was that performance.

The boys played very well, but will saints defend as badly as that again this season? They were pretty bad.

Lots of bounce of ball went Giants way tonight but two points in the bag and that's all that counts.



A really solid performance. Always rated Chan but used properly as a wide running second row he surpassed expectations unbelievable.

Very well done on a surprising season opener.

Shame you couldn't quite shut them out but a great day for all those who travelled.

Seriously though it was a joy to see our boys completely dominate a top side from start to finish in a game. Let's just hope our boys don't fall in love with themselves after that.

My throat hurts my head hurts my whole body will ache tomorrow but i dont care ,THAT was amazing, in 25+ years that is possibly the best away performance i've ever seen - we simply hammered them, battered them, mullered them whatever you want to call it- and they never even looked like scoring till that one chance they had and took it, we were ruthless and the players reactions were almost the same as the fans at times...what a wonderful night, lets hope it wasn't a one off !

It wasn't. We made 2 mistakes. Jerry spilled the ball with 3 minutes to go and from the resulting scrum our defence opened up to save Saints' blushes!
