Hope Kirke is okay and makes a swift recovery.

We won with 12 men, and for me looked really up for it, to be honest the last 10 mins we were shattered and they got a few easy scores, hardly surprising since we played 65 mins with 12 men.



I live in renewed hope for next week after that performance.



If the pictures show it was a clash of heads then we get LOD back for the playoff's, bring it on.

There was a fella in officials garb who came onto field to have a word with Alibert, don't think it was either of the touch judges which leaves the 4th official, that's my issue, none of the 3 main officials saw owt cos there was nowt to see!!!

The issue is that alibert dealt with the incident - spoke to brough, spoke to LOD and that was it. A full 10 mins after the incident the decision completely changes because Ian Kirke is still on the deck. THAT is the issue here. Alibert is weak no doubt and every game becomes a pantomime he referees. The other issue is that Stuart Cummings is not dealing with the obvious issues that are clear for us all to see.

Absolutely nailed it. LOD got dismissed because



1) Kirke received treatment for a long time on the floor and



2) Sinfield kept on at Halibut to send LOD off.



The initial tackle was deemed fine by all officials when it actually happened, not even a penalty.

Any one else suspicious that lod did play the second half disguised as a masked mason?

Best thing to do is just wait and see what actually happened. It's the strangest sending off I've ever seen but nobody knows whether it's the right or wrong decision until the video is reviewed. Alibert is a poor referee but too many officials have become overly reliant on the video ref and SKY cameras. There were 3 officials within ten yards of the incident and it is criminal that not one of them appeared to initially see what happened.

the masked man had no name or number on his back, so who knows

I was just hoping if he scored we'd have played either Phantom of the Opera by iron Maiden or the Invisible Man by Queen.
