While on lions tour was told from a very reliable source that Fartown had signed a new Australian half back. If this does not come off it will go down like a lead balloon with players and supporters alike. Getting worried now that it may have fallen through. You would think a major signing before season ticket deadline would be a big boost. I hope this signing comes through quickly as the squad now looks a lot weaker than this time last year and we all know how that went.

When we do sign this new half back (hopefully in the near future), although I'm no marketing expert, wouldn't it be good PR for the Giants to extend the season ticket deadline (say by a month)? |
