Pretty dull game tbh and the scoreline flattered us really, we were very ordinary. You looked better than last year which, tbh was men against boys and you've probably seen enough to suggest you should be in the top 4 in your division.

Personally though I think Fev and Fax are still much better sides.

The players you've brought in look better than those that have left and so, you'll go okay.



As for Atkins' 'obstruction'. I think the blokes been taking lessons of Christiano Ronaldo with a dive like that. He knew he was getting nowhere near and although there may have been ever so slight contact, Atkins thought he'd show us his rendition of Swan Lake.

As long as Leigh are in a different league to us they'll always be my 2nd team hope you guys do well this season. As for Gaz we are a fully professional club working at the max salary cap against a team in the lower leagues with a budget not even half of ours, show some humility, the result was never really in question from either set of fans. I apologise on behalf of wire fans, good luck and make sure you smash Widnes.

some class players , but the scoreline did flatter them , i was happy with the Leigh performance ,and feel things are much better than last season, maybe a bit of fine tuning needed but BASIL knows what he is doing , the future is bright.

Just as a matter of interest how many times have you watched Fax and Fev this season ? And what do you think of their squads and in particular their strength in depth ? A Wire fan I was chatting to yesterday did not think Warrington had much in that regard when I suggested your starting 17 yesterday should finish in the top 3 of Non Relegation League.

Decent hit out and something that will help us get more matchfit for the fast approaching RL season.

Thought we played well in patches and certainly matched up well in the forwards. Warrington don't look that big an outfit to be honest.



A couple of the Warrington tries were dubious to say the least but overall I was quite happy with us. It's the first time I've seen young Ellis and I thought he struggled and his kicking game was quite poor. Sure he'll improve though

I agree with Gaz e , I thought Wire were poor really and never got going , which quite obviously was because Leigh didn't let them get going , especially in the forwards , just as Tony Smith stated after the game

and there goes any right you have to criticise me.





Btw way to all you Leythers - good luck for the season ahead. Smashing Widnes a few times would be nice.

I havent seen them this season and obviously as every side has made changes, unless they've declined in standards I dont think you look as good as they did last year. Time will tell.
