Good evening Pete, I thought Danny R did ok , especially in the second half, I think Fev will beat Fax next week, after watching both teams recently I think home advantage will favour Fev.As I said Fax , Fev , and ourselves will fight out the 5th spot, should be a great season , Sheffield have surprised a few and York are no mugs, hope to see you and Di for the return game .

Great to see you Derek, it’s been a while , I owe yer a drink,I myself was a bit worried after the first half , we let Fev score late on in the first half, but then we were comfortable , Riddy played a blinder, but most Leythers did, Fev are no mugs, things look good , we are not far off being a decent team.Hope to see ya soon.

Smith had a good one. Richardson really didn’t break any pots. But good show from him given his lack of paying time.

Danger that Woods, Russell, Pownall and McNally are out. There's also been a mention (albeit from a renowned wum) on another forum of O'Donnell leaving as well. That would leave us dependant on DR for 1,7 and 9, which is a vulnerable position to be in.



Think we need to get one or two more bodies in that are our players, otherwise we could be back to fielding less than 17 man squads on matchdays again.

I question whether Woods is really injured, or it is a nice way of saying why he was left out, if it is correct it must have come about at training this week and not last weeks game at Fax, I commented on his complete lack of involvement in that game he was totally "contact aviodance" and a dinner suit type of player which is OK if a team can afford to run with an organiser who who has a top class pack up front and first class backs outside of him, which we are clearly not, we require a 7 who will take on the line, and get involved in defensive duties, this is not Josh Woods type of game. Rumour has it - from a good authority - that Wigan see a good future in Josh but he really needs to harden himself up somewhat, hence letting him go on loan for 12 months hoping that would assist in more game time. This is not a witch hunt on Josh, but I honestly do not see him as the type of player we need at this present moment.

Or, maybe being hampered by injury impacted on his performance at Fax.
