No coach in their right mind would take a 3 year contract knowing it’s not worth the the paper it’s written on. Unfortunately Derek has already stated that he’s gone if we don’t make top 4. The picture Derek has painted (probably unintentionally) In effect they could be out of a job in August if we don’t make the playoffs and the club can’t afford the contracts Derek has committed the club to.
Which quality coach in their right mind would be “interested” in that?

Yep quite right. As already stated, huge game on Monday and should be followed by 3 further wins ?. Could 7/7 put us in really good stead leading up to playing the better team again ?
We have lost tight games due to lack of composure and discipline (and on some occasions down right arrogance!), but the dream is now the top 4.
Its not insurmountable and we have the tools to do this.
London ARE NO great shakes and are basically the same team we pasted 44-4 last year. Looks like we are starting to gel and if we play with no anxiety (unlike Toronto, Fev and Toulouse), i can see london going on a sky dive. Saying that, they do have half backs that can hurt you, but defence seems to be getting better ! |

At present its not a case of who they're beating,its how they are beating them. The style has most definitely changed and they seem to be enjoying it. The backing up,link play,offloads and defense have improved immensely. Players out of their respective primary positions have really stepped up and don't look out of position.
They also seem to be learning from their mistakes, small tweaks in play are now fixing things,better game management and better game plans.
No rotation for Wards men Monday. Leigh will.
