Needs a game before the middle 8s give Hood a weekend off.

I would get him in because we need a leader on the field to focus the team. We saw it against Batley at the start of the game and as I listen we are doing the same at Rochdale. Stupid penalties, loss of focus in defense, silly errors... And more stupid penalties.

Which game, L14, or both games? We need to get to the Mid8s first. Mickey is the bee's knees at organising the team, but the bee's knees are not the knees they were. Best and possibly the first chap KP got (back) in upon the latter's "acting" appointment. Between them they have changed, not just the style but the ethos of the team.



Whatever level we are playing at in 2019, MH should stay. Can't see another year as a player, but KP would be more open to him taking a coaching role, rather than seeing the ambassadorial one fudged under NJ.

It is a difficult one, Higham has a lot of attributes that he can bring in to the side no question about that for me. However he is 38 soon and we are still reliant on the guy.



Also I am not sure if I would want Hood or Mortimer make way out of the 17 to accommodate him either. Certainly is one to ponder.



Unless of course Purtil is considering throwing in a curve ball of moving Mortimer to the halves at the expense of at least one under firing half back.
