We scored 48 and had 3 more tries chalked off, 2 of which should clearly have stood. Could easily have been 60 with a better ref. Not exactly 'clueless'. We wore them down in the 1st half and then cut loose in the 2nd as they tired.



Halves were not as fluent as they could have been but we started with a brand new partnership between Riddy and Chase, then Riddy went off injured and Foster filled in well for a while before Riddy came back in for the last 20 mins or so. No wonder they were a bit disjointed.



Letting them score 2 in the last 10 minutes was a bit sloppy but hardly the end of the world. Thought Oldham played hard and never stopped trying.



A very comfortable win, some nice tries spread between forwards and backs, crash overs and long range efforts.



Thought Foster did well coming on at 9 then filling in at half back before moving into the centres when Armstrong went off injured.

Joe we Deffo don't want Harris let's give Jukesy the chance he deserves ,peplace him by all means if he isn't up to it , but give the lad a chance.

With the team we have and the fact that we are full time, we should have won by 80

But we didn't, and credit to Oldham for their effort. And by the way ,I think Lee Smith is an excellent signing.

Ridiculous attitude to take.



Saints got hammered by Salford on Thursday, Leeds got smashed by Widnes today. Both looked far stronger than the opposition on paper and yet were well beaten.



No team has a 'right' to win in RL and certainly not by 80.



We won comfortably. Could have played better but we controlled the match from start to finish against a well motivated and hard working Oldham side.



We looked much better than last week and hopefully will improve further ahead of London next Sunday.

Nozzy, it was Ridyard who came back on at centre, leaving Foster at half back. No doubt putting Riddy at centre was to satisfy the demand for that move, from certain members of this forum.





I thought today was an improvement - hopefully that will continue, especially as our new players get used to each other and their team mates.
