Leigh have played much better than yesterday at Haven and lost, a bit of work to do and I'm sure the coaching staff are aware of it



The fans? , well just the usual during the game, but afterwards in the clubs and pubs they were typical RL, welcoming but nervous about what the future holds for pro RL in the area



Later on bumped into Eddie Bowman a former Leigh player, told us some good stories of his time both with us and Wigan



Overall a good day/night/ day away at a RL town

Well true but maybe because you film from the East Stand.

To be honest the teams closest to beating us have done it playing rugby Keighley and Haven .

As for the fans up there most are ok but the ones that aren't are the worst

We went out after and those we meet in town were all fine

Funny enough we don't appear as if by magic in the east stand we do have to walk around the perimeter of the pitch before and after the game, plus the video gantry is -as it should be at all stadia - raised above the speccies to allow a clear and unobstructed view.



Lynda you were obviously not in the stand were the club officials sit (well the only sitting stand [inothing wrong with that by the way[/i), they are like rabid animals in there whilst the game is in progress.

Aren't they always I'm that stand Fred you have to erect a scaffold next time at other end @lol

Just watched the first half on Centurion TV.



Was even worse second time.



I might watch the second half tomorrow depending on how good Star Trek is.

Out of order on so many issues, first the stadium is nowhere near as bad as Owlerton, and if you're calling John Cox, well words fail me!

Where you there? did you witness it? words must fail you then, They were ignorant, uncouth and biased, If it was Cox on the radio then yes I did mean him.

You obviously cant understand English as I wrote (quoted by you) beaten only by Owlerton.

So before being critical use facts not opinions, I always do.

We've been here before many years ago Fred, I think 'haven fans are superb, and know their stuff, however I've never sat where you do, I'm usually opposite, or in the Kells end!



For the record, I would rate John Cox as one of the best in the business, articulate, precise and great in the way he describes the game!

So you were not there, some of our directors were and suffered severe abuse especially to the females of their 'party', and just remember it was you who mentioned Cox I wouldn't know him if I fell over him, but the guy who gave Joe Wood a mouthful for asking him a simple question an hour before kick off was ignorant and rude, and then gave all three of us abuse on our way out.

Next time go and sit in that stand they are like a pack of baying animals.

Unfortunately I may have to go back there next year.

and what about you dave or was it your helper who passing less favourable comments to haven player after the game , and when told to shut up swore in front of some children there ?

Funny how whenever we play some clubs it always ends up in threads like this,where accusations fly in both directions,the thing is everyone who puts there point across on here thinks they are right.
