With Armstrong signed with t'eagles now I think swinton will keep hold of Higson by all means

Players have to consider the money on offer but' they will also take into account likely win bonuses.



I am confident our team next season will be stronger than last.

I rate Higson & would love to see him back here but if he don't want to play for us then feck him he obiviously has no aspirations as a successful (on field ) rugby player

My understanding is that Adam has just had/is about to have a knee clear out. It would be folly for anyone, including us, to sign him until he is able to prove the success of that procedure.

I spoke to Trevor last night and he said aspinwall is a Leigh player and this is registered with the rfl

I suspect Martin will still be under contract to Hull until November - that's when most contracts run to.



Here's a couple of hypotheses for you: I wonder if he wants to stop playing full-time RL, (and travelling across the country) to concentrate on the next phase of his working career, after RL, and play 'part-time'? I also wonder whether Hull have made the noises about still being in discussion with him, to ease the disappointment among their fans, at having to let him go?

They announced his signing officially and if they believe he is still our player then surely there is no need for any other announcement.

Apparently they have included a one month cooling off period in which SL clubs can step in. According to McRae they are looking at the clause although they have still not decided whether to offer him a contract.
