Why is it that your perfect views are usually different from what actually happened, is it poor eyesight or blind belief?

Penky did seem to throw the first punch but I think ref sent the wrong two off.

Well ref put the brawl on Report so Sarsfield will have no case to answer imo.



Should Penky be suspended Lewis Foster will replace him.



Have watched this lad in our reserves I think he will become a fan favourite sooner rather than later.

There were pushes from both players. The Fev lad wanted Penky to release and Penky took offence. Just pushes at this point. Then the Fev player laid into Penky with punches to the head. That's how I saw it from LCTV. After that all hell let loose. The Greg McNally incident. Although it was high I think Greg should have stayed on his feet and he was through. We most likely could have scored and if not the ref would have brought it back for the high shot. On LCTV it doesn't look that bad to me but I wasn't the one getting hit.

How was McNally ever going to stay on his feet running full paced & receiving a still forearm to his head nearly taking it clean off?

You making a comedy at present? It looked even worse live as you saw what he was going to do, he made a conscious decision to act as he did from where I was watching. Very poor call from the ref, and resulted in what went on later imo

That's my opinion fellas. I have watched it back about 20 times now. To me it looks more like a grab than a swinging arm. Like I said it was high and it wasn't me getting hit. The brawl, having watched that back the same doesn't look good for us. The Refs Assistant raises his flag for Penky's first strike and then Matt gets a push then looses it. That is my opinion from the footage that I have seen.

That dirty cheap shot off Spears would of taken Tommy 'granite' Goulden down it was the most blatant red how leatherbarrow or the touch judges didn't call for the player to be sent off I don't know. If you catch a player high while tackling it'll either be a penalty against you, sin binning or a red if it's bad but when has deliberate forearm to the head on a player making a break deemed just a foul? Wrong decision IMO a sin binning at the very least.

Although didn't Leigh get the penalty? Not saying you're wrong, but maybe the officials saw it differently?

They did Alan and rightly so as the first two digs were just pushes from what I could see. The Fev player was the first to throw a proper punch.

the bit what I saw on Boots & All last night only showed some brief highlights of the initial melee but did anyone else notice Kay run in from nowhere and punch Kain whilst he was on the floor ? Whilst I agree that Kain threw one or two at Penkywicz while he was on the floor, I would think that Kay may have a charge also......
