Whitehaven is the only away ground that I refuse to visit due to the constant vitriol and abuse that comes from far too many of the 'fans' their. Until I hear things have changed I won't be going back unless there is an exceptional reason to do so.



Take that as you will, but there isn't another club I would put on that list.

It has ever been thus at Whitehaven ,the back of beyond, the fans are the worst in the Game in my opinion ,a bunch of inbreds

Never forget the guy in the wheelchair deliberately aiming it at Leigh fans a few years ago

Another stupid comment from an idiot, of course our CLUB videos are bloody Leigh biased it's a club based thing, NOT a BBC radio station.

If your little club could ever afford to send a video team to us they would be treated well and with courtesy and not be able to be abused by other fans.

our little club, oh dear leigh must be having a good season .No wonder everyone hates leigh, getting beat with dignity is one thing,winning with it something you have yet to master ,been quiet for a few years but all of sudden the same pretentous attitude from some of your fans seems to be back in abundance

The fans we were stood near weren’t that bad. They were loud and did a lot of singing but nothing wrong with that, didn't quite understand the abuse the ref got but still. Had a good chat with some Haven fans in the bar before the game & outside after, they seemed alright, must have been lucky to avoid the few idiots every club has.



The ground is tatty and old, what happened to the plans for a new ground which was planned before The World Cup?

Hunting horns are more annoying than vuvuzalas, fact.

Leigh have played much better than yesterday at Haven and lost, a bit of work to do and I'm sure the coaching staff are aware of it



The fans? , well just the usual during the game, but afterwards in the clubs and pubs they were typical RL, welcoming but nervous about what the future holds for pro RL in the area



Later on bumped into Eddie Bowman a former Leigh player, told us some good stories of his time both with us and Wigan

Well true but maybe because you film from the East Stand.

To be honest the teams closest to beating us have done it playing rugby Keighley and Haven .

As for the fans up there most are ok but the ones that aren't are the worst

We went out after and those we meet in town were all fine

Funny enough we don't appear as if by magic in the east stand we do have to walk around the perimeter of the pitch before and after the game, plus the video gantry is -as it should be at all stadia - raised above the speccies to allow a clear and unobstructed view.



Lynda you were obviously not in the stand were the club officials sit (well the only sitting stand [inothing wrong with that by the way[/i), they are like rabid animals in there whilst the game is in progress.
