i think for cas he wil do ok, good look steve, when he was fit he did a decent enough job for us.

Good luck to the lad.....I dont have probs with players wanting to play at a higher level - just those that leave (not released) and go to play for clubs in our league for more money (shows no loyalty).

Depending on the contracts being offered for next season a number of players could be on the move in that case. As fans we think like that Leytherjay, but in doing what I do, I can understand players moving around. Not everyone is motivated by loyalty, for some it is all about the pay cheque.



I'm sure we will put together a squad that will be competitive but I reckon it will look a lot different to this one in 2011.

At the end of the day a player for whoever has bills to pay ect ect . If clubs come in to sign someone you can't knock them for going

You may be surprised at how many of the current squad still want to remain at Leigh. They are realistic, in that they know there won't be many fabulous deals on offer in the Championship, and they are loyal - to the fans, the club, and each other.

Agreed Alan and whilst on the subject of players I would not mind Duffs as player coach next season.

Glad to here that a lot of the players want to stay Alan, lets hope we can get them signed up very soon before other clubs snap them up.

Best of luck Nashy - unlucky with injury early on, but has been a solid performer for us this season.

As others have intimated, Basil obviously thinks he's good enough to do a job in SDL - and I'd take his word over any of the 'experts' on here!!



Lets just hope that this is is just a blip - and not the start of a mass-emigration of the 'class of 2011'!!
