I disagree its a garbage post, with a town full of that attitude I would encourage the board to walk away now and enjoy their summers.



Its not a financial call, I have just got the family tickets to every game next year for £8 a week 2A + 2C!!!!!



If somebody claims they cant afford that then in 95% of cases they are lying, they simply give priority to Fags, Take away shet, Booze, Broadband, Sky etc



I see loads of work dodgers claiming poverty with a fag in one hand, a can in the other and about to get a kebab - dont tell me they cant afford it, they choose not to



Leigh has a population approaching 50000 10% take up is 5000, add in Bent, Bongs, Golborne, etc and if 3000 is not our average prior to play offs then lets go PT and become Wigans feeder club, they can pay the bills because we as a club would be dead



My advice to the board is carry on targeting the families, the women especially and dont waste your time with the deadwood who have a list as long as the cut of excuses not to do - we have great positivity and community within our fan base now, luvv the whingers off for their pathetic existence and laugh at them rather than listen to them

Whoa pal, What people get income wise, and how they get it and spend it is their choice. WYSIWYG'S post is stating the fact what we have today.The more you insult people for spending their money on whatever,The less you will encourage them to spend it on what you want them to spend it on.Some people might be well off and not go watching Leigh,and might smoke,booze,eat kebabs have sky etc,but that's their choice.Some people are not well off and would like to go but genuinely can't afford it.By the way the bod are doing an extremely good job and they are taking this club in the right direction,and that will do for me.

Ok that's fine. But they need encouraging and not insulting,bearing in mind that some people don't make going watching Leigh a priority so then it doesn't become affordable after expenditure. The club is selling the product much better than it once was,but it will take time to keep the crowds increasing.Like I've already said, they are taking the club in the right direction and doing a fantastic job.

Nostra - When you haven't got the money no matter how much you want to go to a game it's impossible. You obviously have the money to spend as you wish. Other people choose fags and a drink. I choose food, bills and then a game. I'm unemployed and I pick my games and I travel 8 hours there and back from Oldham to the LSV so put your keyboard warrior attitude away please. I never understand that type of poster who attack people but don't have the guts to put their photograph as their badge. They remind me of car drivers who change personality behind a wheel. If you met them in the street they would be as nice as pie but get them behind a car wheel or a keyboard and they change into The Incredible Hulk :O)

We need to up our attendances massively, and possibly our admission prices also, to stand any chance of a competitive team in SL.



And by competitive I don't mean winning silverware, I mean mid-table and the odd good cup run. And by attendances, I mean our own speccies and not being reliant on big away followings.

Well that's nowt to do with choice and affordability. The mind boggles.

WYSIWYG, I cant see your posts until someone quotes then, I put you on ignore after the sheeite you posted a while back, and for what its worth I was quoting local area I have mates in Australia with the same problem
