How does someone who lives in Jersey know all this about players not getting paid ?

The £15K given so easily by LISA with no questions asked to Trevor Barton less than 2 months ago would now come in very handy to pay the players!



Where has the money gone?



I think Trevor Barton has a lot of explaing to do, he said the money would last at least 2 months, plus the club has had additional revenues since then such as the wigan game etc.

I'm with you jonny, this is turning into a farce. Must be obvious to everybody that a change of direction is required and NOW!!!

Where's the money gone? It's gone on wages and costs.



£15k doesn't touch the sides when the wages bill is double that every month. Then there's the running costs.



Pure and simple. There hasn't been enough coming in to cover what's going out.



Get behind the lads today. They need a lift and hats off to every single one of them.

I have said this before and make no apologies for saying it again LEIGH CENTURIONS TV HAS NOT COST THE CLUB ONE PENNY TO SET UP AND RUN AND EVERY PENNY EARNED FROM IT WILL GO INTO THE CLUB NOT TO ANY OF US, it does make one wonder why I have spent a considerable sum of money to get this idea off the ground to try and make some funds for the club only for people like you Maurice to have a cheap go. If anyone wants my resignation in your clear out it will be on the ceo's desk the day after. In fact after that little pop it may well be on there tomorrow why should I spend as much time and trouble assisting a club with fans such as you. Maybe people who have set up sponsorship deals in the past and at the last minute failed to deliver should have a good look at themselves first.

Interested to know because I have a feeling the administrator is going to be calling very soon along with HMRC......... and after all the promises, praise, fantastic commercial decisions supported with good solid budgeting by the BOD how can this happen?

The few loyal supporters left will be expected, not asked to dig even deeper into their pockets!!!!!



Sorry its not enough its time to get real, completely restructure like any sensible business would do in this postion. Take it back to the bare minimum and rebuild with a proper thought out strategic plan for the next 3-5 years if Leigh RLFC has any chance of a future never mind surviving!

Like Alexs Dad has said, 15k doesnt touch the sides especially if it was also covering a deficit of moneys already spent. If this is true regarding the non payment of players, then surely this needs to be the straw that breaks the camels back with regards to the future of the club. Some very important decisions need to be taken with regards to the short and long term future of the club. Its times like this when everybody needs to be pulling in the same direction and working together to secure the future of this great club!

I'll be getting behind the lads but the way this club is run is a joke. This will inevitably lead to fans including myself pishing money down the drain trying to pull our club out of the mire again
