that was dire,when pownall let the ball squirm under his body and they scored a lot of the leigh team went and patted him on his head and tried to encourage him.his confidence was already shot then they substitute him and completely wreck any confidence he had left beswick may has well had his old fax shirt on he was dire as were most of them.players having a laugh when your stood under the posts after just conceding yet another try is taking the pee out of the fans who went watching that dross.

coach useless to many players over the hill.weve not played any decent open rugby for a while now so what do they do,give the coach another two years.probably not get 1500 leigh fans not at wigan after that

With due respect , as fans we can only give our opinions ,personally my opinion is more to do with positional changes .

I have been a big fan of Paul these last 2 Years but this season he his making it difficult to defend him. IMO we have been shocking all season, 3 good sides played 3 thumping defeats yet we persist with playing people out of position and same old players keeping their places no matter what. Riddy's confidence is shot and needs a break to rekindle himself ( to be 5 yds out with no one in front of u and try and throw a 30 yd pass to winger instead of scoring was criminal and has stopped backing himself ) our centres and wingers are too slow/old ( although Gardner never gave up 2day ) and we have no scrum half at all ( apart from the one playing full back ) our forwards are not big enough to play Paul's game plan although they are good enough to hold their own against any pack with the right game plan. It really is time for Paul to adapt his selections and game plan and show us he his up to the job, I for one hope that he is but am starting to have doubts. I know we don't have a big squad but it defo needs shaking up somehow, if he doesn't want to play greg at 7 give young josh ago at least he is a genuine half. I pretty sure Leigh east/miners under 8's would be able to read our 6 & 7 drop off ball inside and stop us

Of course,thats what the games all about,my post wasn't having a go at anyone,it was me merely expressing that in my opinion,nothing off field is affecting anything on field.

Paul ROWLEY is an excellent coach and servant to Leigh. The passing of Arthur will have affected him and his family. If anything is wrong with your fantastic club it is the riddiculous sign up with Wigan, you wouldnt see Fev falling for that a really awful decision for the club and town

We had an off day everything went wrong, fax at a great game everything went right.

Perphaps our minds were on Friday who knows, but well bounce back, we always do.

I'll be there Friday ,to cheer on the lads , I was one of the few who stayed and clapped them off as always today, bad performance but well come right again. Keep the faith.
