As well as the two players picked out by 'Leyther Matt' , We also had a very young 16 year old stand off out there today who didn't put a foot wrong all afternoon either.



Lee Gittens also showed plenty of promise at centre.

Josh had a good game all things considered but I think it's a while before he's likely to be knocking on the first team door on a regular basis. He's got bags and bags of potential though. A little known fact is that, other than being a member of the Salmon Army, he also used to run rings round the Leythers MB team as an 8 year old

Looking at some who played in that team I could have done the same at nearly 75 !!

Who was the lad at 17 for us he put a good shift in for the full 80 I think.

The lad at 17 was Alex Robson from Leigh East... He did a good job, keen and eager in the tackle.
