Definitely five minutes from the BRITANNIA. I walk that route every day. Around 10 minutes from the bus station.

Really looking forward to having a drink in Leigh and loads of fans from different clubs mixing together in the town, England fans everywhere.



Hope the atmosphere before's like CCup final day.

Is the ground far from the town centre or easy walking distance?



Looking at having a few beers then going up to the game. (Dont want the missus moaning to much about a long walk especially if its raining!!!)

Bring some washing and leave the missus doing the ironing in the hotel.

LSV is a 15 minute walk from Leigh Bus Station. But as I am gym trained I do it in 10.

You can do a decent little pub crawl if you start at The White Lion-Wetherspoons-Goose-Centurion-Stadium

Or the 597 from Leigh bus station to the Leigh Sports Village



Leigh, Bus Station 09:47 then every half hour



If there are a few of you from Warrington I would look at the cost of a taxi as the bus takes about 40mins

How would you know, you normally jump ROMANS TAXI

You wouldn't find your way to the stadium anyway mate, you always get a passing

You get picked up at the Goose and returned to the same place, then seen accross the road

Never caught it but 40 minutes ? Which way does it go via Bolton or maybe the driver gets out for a quickie has a shower a pastie gets dressed and back on his bus ?



Well would not surprise me the time I stand at the bus stop in Salford waiting for a bus back to the capital.



Any bus drivers reading this tell me why do you not operate to the timetables or is that just there to annoy moaning old sods like me ?
