Thats why I opened it too.

We have got a garden centre in Leigh, the one just short of the Greyhound on the Lancs. OK its no Benst but the plants are very good quality and its dirt cheap. Me and the Mrs usually have a look round Bents then go here to buy and the prices are about 75% cheaper.

Bents is extortionate, and we only ever go there near crimbo too take the kids around the dispay.

Lots of negative responses here - typical of some folk on this forum !



There are quite a number of people in Leigh who depend on people going to Bents to spend money as it pays their wages! Some of them appeared in the advert too!



Life is about choices, you can choose to go and spend money in a shop or choose not to! Just because you choose not to, does that give you the right to call those who do 'snobs' ?



Wether its in Warrington, Leigh or Timbuctoo, it doesn't really matter does it?



It's like being in a playground at times with some of you lot!

The point of this post was. Why do Bents say that they are near to Warrington when they are just outside the border of Leigh?

In the coffee shop there, the other day. The woman in front of me, in the queue, had two scones and two coffees on her tray. When she got to the till, she profferred a £20 note, saying, 'Sorry, I've only got a £20 note.' 'That's alright love,' said the cashier, 'just put one of the scones back!!'

Because Warrington have a SL team and Leigh doesn't (yet)??
