Did you have Tommy Coyle comentating Mish? Defence was good. Can't really say excellent because Hunslet were poor. To me todays game seemed like a pre-season warm up but you can see good things will happen in the coming weeks. Looking forward to my trip now on thursday ( weather permiting). I won't forget lots of warm clothes and a flask of hot vimto like I did today. I'm concerened about Stu Littler. He really was off his game today and I didn't see him take a knock but he was taken off looking a bit fragile. Tommy G or Michael Ostick for MOM would have been right. Tommy was making breaks left right and centre. Bob Beswick had a good one also.

They can keep this "free play" mularky also. What a stupid rule. Saw it working today and it's absolutely ridiculous. All it will do is waste game time. As the clock isn't stopped at the time of the offence and like today the play went a good way down the field and was then brought back. Rubbish.

Good to see Leigh aware of the ruling though and trying stuff out to keep the ball alive, fully in the knowledge that they will retain possession if it doesn't come off.
